JSU V.I.B.E (Virtual, Interactive Technology, Books, and Educational Supplies) is a partnership between JSU and the JSU Campus Store that allows students to rent or purchase textbooks at a reduced cost. The charge of $27.00 per credit hour is posted directly to the student’s JSU Bursar account along with tuition and fees (University fees). It can be paid along with their University charges using financial aid or methods of payment.

We’ve discovered a better way for JSU students to succeed from the very first day of class and save money. With digital textbooks and materials through JSU V.I.B.E, students get instant access, lighter backpacks, and an average saving of 62% or more over printed books.

This program aims to improve the overall success of the student’s in the classroom here at JSU. This program will ensure that all students have the required course materials needed to succeed on day one.
Studies show that students who don’t have their required course materials on the first day of class may be disadvantaged. We are offering this program to all students to ensure that all scholars are afforded this great opportunity.
A charge will appear on your student account for the JSU Campus Store – JSU V.I.B.E. The charge will appear under the description of your bill. You can pay through your JSU P.A.W.S. account or allow it to be covered by your financial aid if your award is enough when it disperses.
Once a course has been dropped, the digital e-book access will be removed. If the student picked up a physical book, it would need to be returned to the Campus Store by the add/drop date to avoid being charged extra fees for failure to return.
If you have questions, you can email S00001053@d809.com or call 601.979.2021
After completing the Opt-Out process, you will receive an email from noreply@follett.com (Subject: Welcome to JSU V.I.B.E. Customer Portal!) verifying your Opt-Out status.
Students that have opted out of the JSU V.I.B.E program can still purchase their required COURSE material from the Campus Store. We understand that students who opt out may still need to use their financial aid or scholarship awards in the Campus Store. Please note, many of our items are custom priced for JSU V.I.B.E from publishers and will be a different price than what is listed on the Campus Store’s website. Some items –like physical books — are readily available at the Campus Store. Like courseware products (for example, McGraw Connect and Pearson Mylab), others may have to be specially ordered. If you would like to purchase your materials from the Campus Store through the JSU V.I.B.E program, we ask that you please contact the Campus Store. This will ensure that the course material is received promptly, even special-order items. We will work diligently to ensure that all needed course material is received, even if you cannot pick them up at the store.
